About Networks
sheTIME Networks hosts reports of groups exploring the feminine cycle.
sheTIME encourages women to join or form support groups, either in their local area, or online (where participants do not have to be geographically near each other to offer and receive support).
Our own journeys have been supported by the Wise Women — a group of women who exchange stories and insights about their feminine cycles. The group formed when delegates to Alexandra Pope’s “Wisdom of Menstruation” seminar in London in 2005 decided to continue sharing insights and supporting each other after the workshop. They are married, single, housewives, managers, freelancers, coaches, black, white, grandmothers, mothers, child-free… a wide cross-section of the female experience, delighted to enrich and be enriched by each other. Some of the Wise Women formed a club, subsequently called The Full Moon Club, that met in Piccadilly, London, on the Saturday closest to the full moon each month, for a couple of years. Why not do the same in your area?
Although these support groups may be independent of sheTIME, sheTIME is happy to provide web maintenance and moderation services to support them. You too might like to post reports of your group’s experiences on this site, so that members of your group can continue discussion via the Comments facility.
We hope that you will enjoy and be stimulated by the reports of women’s real experiences showcased here and throughout sheTIME. To contribute something yourself, or to alert us to other support groups related to the feminine cycle, go to the Participate page.
